Dr Mok Kok Yuen graduated with a Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Dundee Medical School, United Kingdom Scotland in 2010. He was also awarded the Ionising Radiation Training Award and Champion Infection Prevention and Control from University of Dundee. Since then, he has been actively practising in General Practice for almost a decade. He is currently anchored in Providence Novena clinic as a primary care provider.
Dr Mok also has certificates from the Aesthetic Dermatology Educational Group, accredited by the Singapore Medical Council, and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine in Aesthetic Practice. He is also a LPA (Lasting Power of Attorney) practitioner accredited by the Public Guardian in Singapore.
As a participant of a research project under supervision of Prof. Fleming, a professor of Cellular and Molecular Pathology from University of Dundee, Ninewells Hospital, Dr Mok learnt about one of the complement markers, C4D in the pathogenesis of nephritis via immunofluorescence staining. He also presented on the Effectiveness of Curosurf Treatment in Neonates“ at a Paediatric Departmental Meeting in Ninewells Hospital and the “Chronic illness: Hyperlipidemia” in Housing and Development Board (HDB) in Toa Payoh Singapore.
Believing that a primary care provider is the first point of contact for everyone who wishes to seek clinical attention, Dr Mok thinks that it is of utmost importance to act in the best clinical interest of the patients in a holistic manner. His life motto is to practise medicine until the end of his career. Outside of his practice, he is also a devout Buddhist and regularly volunteers to sponsor food for the elderly in his free time.
